I love that guy, so intelligent. And WARNING there is some vulgarity. It's true the planet will be fine, before and after us. The fight against pollution is one of the mind thinking (or not thinking) that what we do individually does not have an effect globally...? Same thing in economics If one banks goes broke other banks still have money...? A short study of it will set you straight, it did for me, I look at paying back money I owe the same way I look at what I throw away.

I am a Precious Plastics Member and A One Army Soldier. My mission is clear, use my talents (given to me at birth) and skills (I have learned along the way) to Love the place I live. Even if it cost me my life (the fleeting moments we have left) to serve to a preservation of life (take care of the place you live). Not here to argue but will not be under minded Some people think what is no longer 'useful' is no longer valuable....?

Sometimes I wonder we only delay the final destination of plastic with this recycling efforts. According to the OPEC, there is still Oil for a long time but I remember this was debunked by oil sheikhs during my visits in the Emirates.

PP initial designs can be great for small hand craft. There is actually quite a crowd (rather silent and invisible) utilizing more advanced PP tech for their products, eg: game makers (injection mould miniature creatures), gift shop items and with the sheetpress, also furniture designers and makers pick it up.
Hard to tell what the goal is - but the need was and is there - I guess it got a sort of face now There are also increasing different audiences, for now I recon :

Entrepreneur isn't really for anyone, it's blood and sweat for a long time - in the plastic 'business' it's even lot harder. If you are under 45, sticking with a job is lot's of safer though, after you've got some reserves and experience, on the side - you could risk it - sure - having an exit strategy and plan B also helps a lot. We do easily 12-14 hours each day - in an rather unhealthy and unsafe & somewhat hostile environment , if lucky there is some time for family and friends on Sunday ... Red or blue pill - the choice is yours Entrepreneur isn't really for anyone, it's blood and sweat for a long time - in the plastic 'business' it's even lot harder. If you are under 45, sticking with a job is lot's of safer though, after you've got some reserves and experience, on the side - you could risk it - sure - having an exit strategy and plan B also helps a lot. We do easily 12-14 hours each day - in an rather unhealthy and unsafe & somewhat hostile environment , if lucky there is some time for family and friends on Sunday ... Red or blue pill - the choice is yours I still think that doing what you want is rather a privilege, meant for a few only and even though, you have to go with the flow to make something work, in the old/monetary world. Even in projects as PreciousPlastic - there is lots of waste and crap consumption involved - far from sustainable, etc... a novelty activity at best.
At the end, sooner or later such ambiguous undertakings are carried out on the shoulders of the community - when one is old though. Sure, there's lot's changes needed - in many aspects but as always, good projects need $$ though, lot's of it. I think the general public is far from willing to 'çhange', regardless they want - occasionally

). Thus, outdoor products seem easier to handle. 'CMPlastik' (https://www.cmplastik.com/), one of the rare & orbiting PP successors (some others at that scales did shutdown recently .. ) funny, the deeper we keep digging - the more we'd like to forget about about plastic's inevitable end - being anyway married to petrol chemistry ... I guess this is hopefully over in 25 years (OPEC's predictions can't be trusted). - did the CAM & machining (30mins) for a shredder seat plate in a few hours - was taking usually over 6 hours.
Really happy now I can do that stuff as I like and as it should be, without much hassle anymore. I guess my days fabricated low-tech stuff are counted - no even sure it still makes sense to publish blueprints ...

Weโve just released a new machine tutorial to build a MOTORED INJECTION MACHINE with Andres from El Tornillo in Colombia!
This is a big moment for a couple of reasons:
1. For the first time weโre going full in to share a machine entirely made from the community

Prusa Research - the Czech company founded by Josef Prusa, making the award-winning open source desktop 3D printers (they sell 10K devices every month!), with a big global community of makers!
With this collaboration we want to connect our communities to give 3D print waste a second life. You see, waste from 3D printers is currently a top-of-mind problem for the Prusa community when it could actually be a very precious resource for the Precious Plastic community. It's just a matter of making those connections

Some time ago we connected with the Nouns community - a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) based on NFTs (non-fungible tokens) - unique digital identifiers recorded on a blockchain. They generate pixel characters called nouns, and the thing that all these avatars have in common are square sunglasses - NOGGLES
They wanted to materialise the virtual noggles, make sure that each pair is unique (same as their pixel nouns), and as sustainably made as possible. That's where Precious Plastic came in!
Easymoulds made a special mould of an absolutely perfect noggles shape, and sent it to Mad Plastic in Portugal 
, Precious Plastic NY in the US 
and Precious Plastic ES in Brazil 
, so we can pilot decentralized production of recycled items made as local as possible to the customer. As it usually works in our open source community, the mould project files are fully available on our website (thank you Easymould!), so everyone can remake them using Precious Plastic machines.
