I know VORON gives out "serial numbers" to self built VORON printers (once they do the test print successfully i think), so some sort of "we'll send you a trading card/postcard size serial number/info card" thing could be really neat (or if it is bought premade, it comes with one, etc)

Also the note on the "technocrat / tech bro" solutions to issues such as poverty/homelessness, i think that is a great point, and would love to make a page/something on it. I think i made one on things like how DEF is hated and makes some people even remove catalytic converters from their trucks, as they made it work, but didn't take into account the logistics / on the ground experience., but this broader concept is really important to be cognizant of, at least that's my take?

"cabins can be put together by anyone with some construction experience, though Bare says most clients prefer the turn-key option". This is an encouraging data point. Speaking for myself, I like it if I know that things are open sourced when I buy stuff because I feel more in control, but this does not mean that want to build everything myself.

"How it works from the technical site: 1. Everything happens peer to peer, so your data is not uploaded or stored on any server 2. It starts a p2p node in the background, with which the FreeCAD instance communicates. There is one node per PC, hence in the video both FreeCAD instances connect to the same node 3. It stores the FC document data locally and provides synchronization to other nodes which joined the same document (but this is still somewhat yankie)" https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=57028

screws are reusable, nails aren’t. Nails are probably cheaper.the space of building design seems able to accommodate both 🙂

Nails used to be stronger, not sure if that’s still true. Much, much faster using nails with a nail gun. More difficult to disassemble later, either have to pull the nail or use a bimetal blade on a reciprocating saw to snip the nail.

Agree to disagree. Super late to this, but I was reading through. In industry, we use what are called energy chains, or e-chains. Cable carriers. Igus and Kabelschlepp are common vendors. Keeps the cables separate, tracking straight, and produces more repeatable motion. Rather than just ziptieing moving cables together. Though for many applications, zip ties work just fine! Cables are typically strain relieved at both ends of the chain. https://www.igus.com/info/energy-chains-online-catalog
Quickly find the appropriate e-chain® cable carrier solution from our online catalog that meets all of your project's demands.
