just checked, lbry isn't OpenSource, just comes with a bunch of SDKs.
There's btw. a full leak of Twitch (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=28774910, a 1B+ $$ Bezos effort ) - might be interesting to walk through their code - but useless if you don't have a team taking care of it.(edited)

Hey guys I would like to invite you to check out my project openerv.org, about an open source energy recovery ventilator, it gets a better return on investment than PV panels, by a factor of two or more depending on your energy prices. If you build from kit, you can more than double that! It's an example of doing the sort of thing Marcin talks about re making a viable product just with printing and off the shelf components.
The license is not that liberal yet, but that's because it is early stages. I am moving as fast as I can to get to a stage where I can reasonably release it under an MIT license. Any help to raise funds to do that would be worthwhile, I think. I'm thinking of doing a crowdfunding campaign that could help bring in orders for kits.
