"Delete" icon on How-to is not working

When trying to click on the trash bin icon to delete a how-to, it automatically changes to "Needs to improve to be accepted", but doesn't delete the How-to and it vanishes from the "Pending Content Approvals" page. I'm using Google Chrome version 113.0.5672.93 (official version) 64 bits (edited)

Looking at the code for this it looks to be doing what it's set up to do. For how to's they are given a chance to update and re-submit. Clearly some updates are needed for the UX / functionality. @davehakkens can you give me a steer please...

should there be separate reject and delete buttons?
should we just change the delete button to a cross or another icon so a delete isn't expected?
on rejection should the admin rejecting be able to add some information about why it was rejected so that the original poster knows what it is they need to update to get the how to approved?

1. I think once a how-to gets rejected by admin it does not get deleted. The user still sees it and can edit and re-submit. However meanwile it will not be visible for admins anymore (so for admin it feels like its deleted) Wild guess: I can imagine the behaviour works as intended but perhaps the caching makes the admin think it's still there since its still showing up in their feed after 'deleting' 2. That makes sense to me. Since it never means delete, but rejected. 3. This would be awesome since it's currently a manuel process with getting + sending emails. But not sure how complex this is to add? (edited)

I've just added a pr that changes the icon to a cross and adds a tooltip. Will add an issue for 3 later, should be pretty simple. Could do it in phases; phase 1 - allow the admin to add the reason it's being rejected and changes needed which gets displayed / sent to the original poster. phase 2 - 'chat' feature, allow them to reply within the system and the admin to then reply to them again etc. maybe?

Sorry you've run into this, there isn't a delete option currently. I think it would be a good idea to have one so I'll put this on our issue tracker. In the mean time if you can let me know which one of those howto's you'd like deleted I can sort this for you.
