I understand the desire to have a "last active" showing on the workspace cards, but i think this misleading. I believe this only gets updated when the user logs in. As there is really not a need to login to the community platform to "use it" aka look at the map / how tos etc , this provides a misleading signal to the user. Many workspaces are actually very active but just haven't logged into the CP in a while because there is very little need too
