hi everyone, which software do you use to make cad models? I know it's not fully mould problem, but it is a part of a job. Thanks 🤘

FreeCAD is open source (FOSS), otherwise Autodesk Fusion360 and Onshape are both popular but have license/use restrictions

I use Fusion360. Why? The adoption cost is limited to my time, and the product integrates CAM operations, and includes both parametric and T-Spline capacity. As example, in my circumstance, my press mould was designed in Fusion; because parametrics were prioritized, the design may be rescaled both in aspect and to stock source simply by change numeric values. The product of that mould will be large billets to be machined. Models will be scanned then processed in Fusion- cleaning and segmenting into parts -then CAM used to contrive tool paths for machining. (edited)
