We will be moving into our new workshop in the early stages of 2024. We have been offered financial help to get the extraction sorted out in the space. We will have an injection molder, two shredders, and a small sheet press. We will also be building the bigger sheetpress this year so I'd like to future-proof our workshop when it comes to the capacity of our extraction system. We will have 3-phase electricity in the space and around 10K to spend on the ventilation/extraction system. Any help or experience in this area would be much appreciated. Thank you

One thing to be aware of is building code may (will) require make up air if you go over a certain CFM, which means in addition to the exhaust system you'll need a furnace and/or AC to "make up" the lost conditioned air

so before you focus in on exhaust, find out what building code requires and work with that in mind either to minimize the exhaust needs or go into it knowing you'll need make up air

if you go above 2400 cfm fire code might require a flame arrestor and/or explosive vents if they consider your exhaust flammable. You can get around a bit of that by having an outdoor baghouse (the explosive vent part)
