"Our" referred to my and Maria123's shared concern, and, more broadly, the core values and interest of the Precious Plastic movement. I have no use for nihilism, doom-sayers, and self-fulfilling pessimistic prognostication. I am not of-a-piece with your sentiment, nor, it seems any more part of the same community than Orville, Wilbur, and the hecklers proclaiming they'd never fly.

Just the mentioned hook caught my attention. We are not even sure there are 'core values' in particular. 'PreciousPlastic' is understood / used in many different ways. The statement resembles more or less the more fruitful interpretation, and we like it that way
