Just my two cents, but how about you reduce this Discord server down to 1 channel, maybe 3 max, where people can chat back and forth. Then you can focus all of your efforts on rebuilding the old forum? This format is not conducive to learning the way the forums were....it is "good for" & "intended to be for" merely chatting with people, it's not a repository of knowledge.
