@sponsoons - mh, after checking the numbers; I think this could be done with 3 v4is extruders.
I also suppose that extruding film is different from sheet extrusion. It seems to share only extruding and stretching.
The initial forming makes me a lot of headache. Perhaps there is a trick to get it out of the extruder with 5mm thickness and if not - there will be lot's of excess material to be cut off some time ... not sure.
If and that's a big if - this could be done at die level. What worries me too is that the rather often clumsy input of irregular flakes will create lots of stresses, so you're left with lots of warping.
This should be also similar to filament. Extruding large quantities which then get pulled on size ... thus at least 3 bigger extruders, assuming 50cm wide and 5mm thick.
