I just looked over the code again and found the pins. I might be able to figure out the wiring diagram but I'll need a little time to reverse engineer this

This is a very key part. It's the arduino pins that are used for controlling the shredder.

This should give a clue as well. If someone has already built an auto-reverse for their shredder, please chime in. Otherwise i'll see about sorting this out.

Well, i did a autoreverse function for my shedder. It counts the rpms and when it goes under a certain rpm, it will reverse for a certain time before it changes to normal direction. I find the code PP extremely overcomplicated. I think, if i would do it again, i would probably use a Current Transformer Coil with mapping to a potentiometer to make iit more or less sensible.

Hi guys, from looking at updated shredder schematics it seems ppl have got rid of the arduino and use both a thermal overload relay in conjunction with a timer relay. This places the motor in reverse for a pre determined time before changing direction.

See these. This us the same for the shredder basic 3.3

If anyone could show the schematic wired it would help so much. Thankyou

I don't use this system but the wiring schematics you share do make sense. Do you have any local friends to you that are more knowledgeable with electronics that can help you?
