Precious Plastic / archived-bazar-sellers / Export Sales Data
10:47 AM
@Rory - Sustainable Design Studio I added your Export feature request to feedback.preciousplastic.com. Just tested exporting order data with my buyer account, but am getting this error message, is it the same for you? If this one works, would that be sufficient information for your accounting? For the Bazar admin account it works, so we can export that data into a list. But actually to calculate the Bazar fees we just use that filter with the values:
  • Begin-End of the Month
  • Payment succeeded/Order shipped
  • Order value min. 100ā‚¬ And after seeing which seller actually sold things that month, we then add one more filter (by seller), so it shows the total per month per seller.
Quite manual for now, but as it's not massive amounts of sellers, it's manageable šŸ˜„

Wow that was fast! You rock. Thanks for trying! So I get the same error. To know how useful It would be nice to see the data the excel generates. Totals, Customer Names, Address, Total would be great. Adding the items sold (even better). Baby steps though. Something is always better than nothing.

Ok, in an ideal case, what data would you need?

This is the .csv format that Quickbook accepts to upload invoices from 3rd parties in bulk

I would suspect this data is pretty consistent with most accounting.

Yes. Some simple mechanism to create invoices / purchase contracts will be good idea. Paypal has this mechanism already. A lots of customers want some document of purchase for their accounting department. And at this moment we (Iā€™m) are doing this manually.
