Precious Plastic / archived-bazar-dev / Terms feedback

Feedback from sellers is super useful. I start from the point that we all want the same, sell more machines to recycle more plastic so I take every feedback very constructively as a means to help take us further. On the aboves:
  • I could see in the future an hybrid where some sellers are under a subscription mechanism and some under 5%
  • Direct call for trust makes sense, specially for tier 3 and 4 (which we're not tackling as of now)
  • b2b transfer I don't get it really.. the feature is there to pay with your card or paypal now. You can make the transfer. Seller could simply tell customers it is not possible, these are the rules. Not sure this would be the case on Amazon, ebay or other platforms.

All in all I would go ahead with new terms as they are, see how it works, gather more feedback, and go back to the drawing board with gathered data and impressions.

The change I think makes sense is to give a few examples of when sellers can ask to "violate the terms" and share contact details
  • Customer with no other option than B2B transfer (Many companies
  • They would like to organize a video call

What do you think about direct website links to something like an assembly guide? Rory has a weblink for this

maybe call these "terms exceptions" and have it as a living page that we keep adding as exceptions come up (hopefully not too many)

I think we can also stipulate these expections in the long agreement, but keep the summary short

I am not sure but a link to a guide seems like a post-sale matter.. at which point should be good.
