Hey! Yes, I have a bit of an overview over the East African community, there is for example Plastiki Rafiki in Nairobi. Are you planning to start something? And wherer?

I've already started. I've been collecting plastics from our local neighborhood in Kinoo and sorting it and breaking it down by hand. After, I deliver it to a pick-up station managed by Mr Green Africa and get paid per kg. I however would like to make the process more efficient by breaking down more plastic, faster, as well as clear up more space

How much do you get paid per kg from mr. green? Makes sense. At the moment, Plastiki Rafiki are the only Precious Plastic machine builders I know in Kenya, so you could reach out to them to get a Precious Plastic basic shredder

they pay 24/- per kg
