Precious Plastic is built and maintained by the very people using it. Precious Plastic is both a digital and IRL project and understand contributions in both as incredibly valuable. The synergy between people working on the ground recycling and an army online will get us closer to achieve Precious Plastic goal of a world with less plastic waste. Make this place fun and useful. React, comment and thread in meaningful way with other recyclers.
Once you get more acquainted with Discord, help people find their ways around Discord. Be helpful.

Add yourself to the

-post-jobs .

Based on your expertise support other recyclers in the Help Desk channels.
If you have extra time to contribute you can join Work Groups to propel Precious Plastic forward.

Github The Community Platform (the backbone of Precious Plastic) is developed open source on Github (https://github.com/ONEARMY/community-platform) and counts on many contributors to thrive. Few things you could do:

If you find a bug or problem or have a great idea to improve it, you can create an issue
If you know how to code you can pick an issue and work on it
If you have some time available you can join the team Bazar

Every year the Bazar sends hundreds of thousands of €€€ to recyclers around the world. Selling on the Bazar is a great way to help Precious Plastic as it creates a more distributed economy with more sellers around the world offering product, machines and parts to our clients around the world. Marketing Sharing Precious Plastic with your peers is a great way to contribute. In its 9 years of operations Precious Plastic has not spent 1 single € in advertising, as we believe in organic growth from people to people. Help us keep it that way! －－－ (edited)

‍♀️ IRL Workspace One of the best ways to contribute to Precious Plastic is to create a workspace (duh). Goes without saying that this is one of the most important and time consuming thing you could do to contribute to the ecosystem. Events Running events is also a great way to contribute to Precious Plastic as it helps to spread the movement and educate more people around plastic recycling. －－－

We've stopped all activity here. Don’t worry though - they'll be available until 31st of December 2023, so you can save any conversation you need.
